Apple has removed 8,000+ Vietnamese apps due to fraud.

In 2022, Vietnam will have the most apps removed from the App Store due to fraud or poor user experience.

Apple stated in its App Store 2022 Transparency Report that it had approximately 1.78 million applications and eliminated 186,195 last year.

The Games category had the most entries, 38,883.

There were 8,462 Vietnamese apps. The majority of them, 4,657, were removed for failing to meet design standards. Fraud was responsible for the removal of 3,626 apps, the second most of any country.

Design violations, according to Apple’s rules, include programs that are obsolete or provide a poorer user experience than expected, such as diverting to a website before opening the app.

Fraud included programs that generate phony rival reviews, unfair competition, or deceptive material to entice users.

Other causes for removal included breaking the developer code of conduct, copying other apps’ designs, spamming apps, infringing on intellectual property rights, spreading false information, and so on.
