Comparison of Walmart Plus vs Amazon Prime
In 2019, the Walmart vs. Amazon conflict persisted. Walmart launched a pilot program for 1-day shipping shortly after Amazon revealed its intentions to do so. Walmart most recently launched 2-hour Express delivery for an extra $10 on top of the usual delivery prices.

How to pause Walmart plus membership ?
At the end of their current billing cycle, customers have the option to halt their Walmart+ subscription for one month at a time.
How to pause ?
A member can pause their membership at any moment, but they won’t be charged during that time and won’t be able to access their membership advantages until after the pause period has ended.
How many times ?
In a rolling 12-month period, a member may halt their membership for periods of up to three consecutive months.
When can pause ?
During their current billing cycle, members can pause their subscription whenever they like. The membership will be put on hold at the end of the current billing cycle if it is paused in the middle of one.
Who is eligible ?
The Walmart+ base plan currently only allows paying annual and monthly customers to pause their membership. The initiative may eventually be opened up to trial plans and members with plus ups.
What happens to benefits, rewards, cashbacks and limited period offers ?
On purchases made during the pause time, members are not permitted to save or earn any extra benefits. Throughout the delay, members can still use any accrued awards they have.
A member may still access an LTO during the pause state if they have already redeemed it. However, a member must first renew their membership in order to access an LTO they are eligible for but have not yet redeemed.
